Slow and Mindful Yoga- Christiane
Take time to slow down with this gentle and mindfully moving class. We will move slowly through a series of floor-based, seated and standing poses, linking our movements with our breath. Focusing on the breath and noticing our body during each asana allows us to find balance in the body and mind while letting go of stress. Poses are mostly held rather than flowing to help us slow down and be in the present moment. We’ll use props
like blankets and blocks to create poses that fit our bodies in a class that is focused on gentle movements, breath awareness, and relaxation. The class will end with a longer savasana, so please bring anything you like to be extra comfortable. This class is for all bodies, levels of experience and flexibility.

Yoga Nidre - Angie
Too often and unbeknownst to us, we live in a constant state of stress bombarded by
noise and sounds, addicted to junk light, thinking we always have to be moving. Great
healing can be found in stillness.
Benefits of Yoga Nidra:
● Takes the body and mind out of fight and flight
● Restores the body and mind to rest and digest
● Calms the parasympathetic nervous system
During Yoga Nidra, the pineal gland, sometimes called the god gland, releases a boon of yummy hormones into the body: gaba, serotonin, melatonin, dopamine, human growth hormone, and more. These feel-good chemicals flood the body and when the practice has ended, the individual feels rested, relaxed, and often mentally more clear. I will share a short introduction to the practice before we begin. As this session is at the end of each day, your bodies will have moved enough. Give yourself the gift of Yoga Nidra and allow your body, mind, and spirit to relax in the beauty of REST.
Props are limited but not necessary. I invite you to bring a blanket, eye covering, and
maybe a bolster to help support your lower back.

The Flow State- Cici
Flow State : A state in which one is so involved in an activity, so focused on what is right
in front of them, that nothing else seems to matter.
When you are completely consumed by an activity for its own sake.
When the answers come naturally and effortlessly, moment to moment. Ego falls away.
Time fades into the background. Every action - movement - thought just FLOWS,
seemingly inevitably, from the previous one.
This class is a journey through the body via the art of intuitive movement and
sequencing, paying homage to what we already know vinyasa as: flowing from one
moment to the next with keen awareness to breath and each passing moment.
